Most pet furniture is designed to serve one purpose: to look great in photographs of pets in homes. It is made to last for a season or two and then thrown away. Other pet furniture is designed like kennel equipment to last for years, but it looks terrible in a home. There are a few pieces of furniture that Pet Cozy Co offers that last for years and also look great in a home where people sit.

How This Started

We are located in the south end of Pittsburgh, PA. When searching for suppliers, we don't look through the vast selection of a supplier's catalog. Instead, we order samples and put them through their paces. We sit on them, pull on them, and subject them to the varied rigors of a busy room. Some, inevitably, fail to measure up. That fabric that pills up after a single wash? The foam that eventually flattens out and won't spring back? Seams that pull apart at the corners? Bases that rock precariously on uneven floors? All of these have, at various times, been returned to their suppliers.

What Decides What Stays

Materials that hold up for months rather than weeks, construction that is easily cleaned up and kept rather than thrown away, and a simple and quiet appearance. Beyond that, prices will not be raised on products that Pet Cozy Co sells, shipping to anywhere in the United States is for free, returns are granted for a full refund within 30 days, and corresponded with in a timely fashion. To that end, prices are only changed when the cost of materials increases, e-mail is answered within a business day or two, and Pet Cozy Co is a privately held company. That is it.
